Job Summary: As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Lodge Manager in daily operations, with a focus on maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role aims to combine strong management skills with operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the lodge.
- Team Management: Follow up with the supervisors to ensure daily tasks are assigned and completed.
- Communication and Coordination: Conduct daily HOD meetings to brief on activities and assign tasks.
- Administrative Tasks: Monitor emails daily, informing relevant departments of changes in Res Request.
- Stock and Procurement Oversight: Check and analyze weekly purchase orders, ensuring correct ordering levels.
- Staff Management and Record Keeping: Monitor the attendance register and ensure that you assign off days to staff.
- Communication with Management: Report any significant changes or issues to the Management.
- Guest Services and Operations: Develop quality relationships with guests throughout their stay.
- Reports: Prepare and send daily report to directors on time and accurate.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years in hospitality management, including direct experience in housekeeping.
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of ResRequest System a plus.
