Job Profile
The Recovery officer will be responsible for the overall loan recovery of performing portfolio and management of delinquent portfolio by ensuring payroll advices are submitted to companies on time and
timely communication to guarantors on defaulted loans is done.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Timely and accurate preparation of loans ageing reports and schedules
2. Timely Payroll re-advice for unpaid and underpaid loans/deposits
3. Timely notification to defaulters and guarantors with accurate figures
4. Monthly Follow up of terminal/final dues from KQ and other companies
5. Monthly submission of both positive and negative data on all Sacco loans to CRB
6. Recovery of defaulted loans from deposits and apportionment to guarantors
7. Preparation of accurate monthly debt recovery reports
8. Effectively handling customer queries on debt recovery
9. Liaising with debt collectors on debt collection
10. Posting authorized transactions
11. Reconciliation of expected loan repayments versus actual loan repayments
12. Timely Follow up of delayed company remittances
13. Any other duty assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Business
• Possession CPA II/ Certified Credit Professional Intermediate level
• Two years’ relevant work experience in a Sacco or Financial institution.
