ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Oversee cash flow management, accounts payable, and receivable to ensure the company’s financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and internal controls.
- Facilitate internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing recommendations.
- Design and implement finance policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Support strategic decision-making by preparing detailed financial reports, analyses, and recommendations for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CPA certification is highly desirable.
- At least 7 years of experience in finance or accounting with at-least 2years in a leadership or semi-autonomous role.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
