AA Universal Bean & Co Ltd (AAUBC) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Accountant. We are a leading company in the cocoa processing industry, committed to excellence and innovation in all that we do. This role offers the opportunity to support our accounting department and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions
- Process invoices, payments, and staff reimbursements in a timely manner
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Support the accounting team with audits, payroll, and tax filings
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Handle inquiries related to accounting and financial data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (Experience in the cocoa industry is a plus)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Professional certification is a Plus (ICAN, ANAN, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
