Role overview:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Admin Intern to support our Uganda team in a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a rapid, agile environment and is eager to learn and grow within the fintech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing schedules, following up to see completion of all pending operations tasks in a timely manner.
- Documentation Management: Help with the preparation and organization of important documents and reports.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between departments facilitating clear and efficient communication.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned to support the administrative and operational functions of the team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Science or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) and familiarity with basic collaboration softwares
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Agility: Ability to adapt quickly to changes and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick Learner: Eagerness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies with a proactive attitude.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well with diverse teams.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience: at least 6 months internship or FT work experience in an administrative role in a fintech and general startup environment
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to address and solve problems efficiently.
