Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a highly efficient and organized Administrative Assistant to join the IHEA team and support our projects in Kenya. This position will handle daily administrative tasks, assist the Project Manager and team members, and ensure smooth office operations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage project documents, ensuring all records are accurate and easily accessible.

• Schedule and coordinate meetings, including booking rooms, preparing materials, and taking meeting minutes.

• Handle daily office tasks, including ordering office supplies, answering phones, replying emails and greeting visitors.

• Assist the Project Manager with project coordination and management.

• Support team members’ administrative needs to ensure project progress.

 

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Administrative Management, Business Management, or a related field preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of working in a multicultural environment.

Workload and Salary:

• Full-time position, 44 hours per week.

• Salary range: Ksh 20,000 – 30,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
