
Accounts reconciliation officer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by conducting timely reconciliations of bank accounts, sales transactions, inventory, and other key accounts. The role will involve identifying and resolving discrepancies, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining transparent and accurate financial records.
Qualifications
At least 2 – 3 years of experience in accounting, cost controlling, and operations management
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience in financial reconciliation, accounting, or audit roles.
- Experience in a fast-paced retail or food distribution environment is a plus.
- Experience with accounting systems
- Strong computing skills
Must have skills
- Bachelor in accounting/Finance or related field
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Practical experience in handling Multiple reconciliations
- An excellent written and oral command in Kiswahili and English
- Ability to convey information to people clearly and simply
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
Good to have skills
- CPA (T) is an added advantage
