
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (Part II) or ACCA Level II qualification is preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
• Posting of trade creditors Invoices and debit notes.
Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
• verifying the accuracy of invoices before processing payment of goods and services received by the
- Reconciliation of creditors accounts and updating of all their invoices and payments
- Reconciliation of bank statements and preparing monthly bank reconciliation reports.
- Tracking expenses and processing expense reports.
- Ensure daily and timely banking of cheques and cash.
- Maintaining financial records and ensuring proper documentation.
- Ensure that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Assisting with month end closing of accounts.
- Give necessary support during audits, internal and external.
- Writing of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports or as required to the Senior Accountant or as directed by management.
- Participating in periodic stocktake exercises.
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
Terms of Employment
