Tuns Farm Nigeria Limited is seeking qualified and experienced individuals for the positions of Account Manager and Accounting Officer. The successful candidates will work closely with the financial management team of the company to enhance the efficiency of the company’s financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and analyze large financial data sets.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Perform audits and investigations to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification:
- Must possess a BS degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or an HND in Accounting or any Financial Management-related course.
- (ICAN certification is an added advantage.)
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Advanced skills in ERP Accounting Software (e.g., Sage Evo, Power Enterprise, QuickBooks).
- Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets.
- Professional Expertise:
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standards.
- Experience in financial laws and regulations.
- Strong auditing and investigative skills.
- Personal Skills:
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven experience in roles such as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
- Ability to direct, supervise, and lead a team effectively.
