Neroli Solar Power Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee all financial aspects of their operations.

The ideal candidate will bring a robust understanding of finance, management principles, and Nigerian tax laws to ensure compliance and drive financial efficiency.

This role requires a professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of contributing to our sustainable energy goals through sound financial practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and present accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory standards.

2. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

3. Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, including VAT, CIT, and WHT.

4. Provide advisory on tax implications for corporate transactions and ensure tax optimization.

5. Conduct regular audits of financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

6. Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets.

7. Provide actionable financial insights to support decision-making and business growth.

8. Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies for liquidity optimization.

Compulsory Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional certification (e.g., ICAN) is mandatory.

2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

3. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and their application.

4. Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements accounts.

5. Advanced understanding of finance and management principles.

6. Must have expertise in auditing and internal controls.

7. Must be a resident of FCT, Abuja.
