
Key Competencies.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field
- Professional qualification: The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification/ At least part 2
- Experience: At least three years of relevant experience in Insurance Industry. -Insurance Accounting.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, as well as relevant tax regulations in Kenya and Basic Understanding of IFRS 17.
Key Skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Accounts Payable and receivables reconciliations by reviewing, recording, and ensuring appropriate documentation.
- Review the daily receipting and Banking reports
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain accurate Asset register
- Carry out bill payments, invoicing and vendor statement reconciliations.
- Assisting with internal and external customer service requests regarding finance
- Maintain Accurate Investment schedules.
- General Ledger Review for Accuracy.
- Any other duties as allocated from time to time.
