Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports for the pharmacy.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Conduct inventory and stock management for the pharmacy.
• Handle reconciliation of sales and purchase entries on accounting software such as Tally and Efris.
• Support annual audits and assist in financial forecasting and budgeting.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant in a pharmacy setting is a must.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including Tally and Efris.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, including tax laws and regulations applicable in Uganda.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is an added advantage.
