The Job Title:Accountant

Objective: The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
1. Qualification can be HND accounting or a degree in accounting
2. Must have a minimum of 2yrs experience as an accountant or account officer
3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Power Enterprise, Sage, or similar).
4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in preparation financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
– Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
– Process and record financial transactions, including journal entries and invoices
– Preparation of bank reconciliations
-Tax planning and compliance
-Statutory deductions and prompt remittance
