Job Summary:   This role you would be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a company’s clients or customers. They act as the primary point of contact between a business and its customers, and are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing sales opportunities.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with motor vehicle bonded warehouses, car dealerships, and motor vehicle distributors to generate business opportunities for motor vehicle financing.
  • Prospect and qualify potential clients for motor vehicle financing services.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of financing through our firm and assist them in completing the necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth and efficient financing process for clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth opportunities for the company.
  • Conduct field visits on the daily and share reports to the line supervisor.
  • Meet the daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
  • Write and share written weekly sales reports to the line supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Technical Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of motor vehicle financing processes, sales and regulations.

Educational Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Advanced training in sales or marketing, team building, leadership, management and other business areas.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive industry.
  • Experience in motor vehicle sales and/or financing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent reporting skills.

Must have;

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or motor vehicle financing/sales is a must.
