The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is a government aid agency established in 1991 by the Republic of Korea. KOICA Uganda was founded in 2010 as the official organization for Official Development Assistance (ODA) in Uganda. Its purpose is to enhance the effectiveness of the Republic of Korea’s grant aid programs in Uganda by implementing projects in rural development, education, health, and other areas to foster friendly and cooperative relationships, mutual exchanges, and support economic and social growth between the two governments. With Korea’s assistance to Uganda amounting to more than 18 million USD,

(Job Summary)
The Project Management Officer will assist in the implementation of programs of KOICA. Officer shall plan and coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities. Under the overall guidance and supervision of the program manager, the project management officer will be responsible for preparing relevant presentations and materials, organizing and delivering and /or facilitating workshops and other training services in collaboration with the program manager.

These tasks include maintaining high-quality, consistent, and appropriate communication, managing and analyzing data, assisting with project design and formulation, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting monitoring and evaluation activities.
You will report to the Country Director, while receiving guidance and supervision from the Program Manager and Deputy Country Directors.
