3. Supervisor-Audit

4. Superintendent-Outgrowers

The Superintendent-Outgrowers role supervises and guides a team to ensure Outgrower farmers receive the necessary support to achieve cane supply targets. Responsibilities include visiting farmers regularly, overseeing land preparation and adherence to practices, monitoring staff work, approving farmer applications, inspecting fields, controlling illegal cane diversion, conducting pre-harvest checks, holding farmer meetings, providing extension services, and submitting reports. 5. Superintendent-Harvesting

The Superintendent-Harvesting role is responsible for overseeing all agricultural aspects of sugarcane production within the Kayunga Sugar Project. You’ll program, control, coordinate, and supervise activities to achieve cane production, quality, and yield targets while staying within budget. Key responsibilities include managing harvesting practices, ensuring quality cane delivery, maintaining field vigilance, coordinating with other departments, managing land preparation and planting, conducting staff training, preparing reports, enforcing safety protocols, and performing additional duties assigned by the Estate Manager. A Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, plus a minimum of five years’ agricultural experience (three in sugarcane cultivation) is required. You’ll also need strong knowledge of sugarcane agronomy, farm machinery, labor management, and communication skills, along with computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

6. Packaging Supervisor
