SCHOLARSHIP OFFER FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF HUNGARY FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandan Scholars to pursue studies in Hungarian Universities at Undergraduate, Masters and PhD levels for Academic Year 2025/2026 in the following Fields;

Eligibility
Undergraduate Level
Applicants;
- must have scored a minimum of two Principal passes at C level in the essential Subjects.
- must have sat A’ level not more than two years ago.
- must not be more than 25 years of age at the time of application.
- Those already admitted on other Government Scholarships/ Sponsorship should not apply.
- With Foreign qualifications should have their academic papers equated by UNEB before applying.
- Applicants who shall apply for Chinese Government Scholarship acdemic year 2025/2026 need not apply
Masters Level Applicants;
- Should have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized University
- Should have a minimum CGPA of 3.60
- Should have at least two years of work experience at the time of application
- With Foreign qualifications should have their academic papers equated by National Council for Higher Education before applying.
- Applicants who shall apply for Chinese Government Scholarship acdemic year 2025/2026 need not apply
PhD Level Applicants;
- must have attained a masters degree in the relevant field and from a recognized University
- Should have a minimum CGPA of 3.60 at masters level
- With Foreign qualifications should have their academic papers equated by National Council for Higher Education before submission of application.
- Applicants who shall apply for Chinese Government Scholarship acdemic year 2025/2026 need not apply
Procedure of Application
The application form can be downloaded from the Website of the Ministry of Education and Sports: www.education.go.ug, or can be typed/handwritten with a recent passport photo attached. The application should indicate age, sex, course, home district, telephone contact, an email address, photocopies of academic certificates and transcripts; and addressed to:
