Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
Job Summary: The position holder will support the Uganda Pediatric and Adolescent HIV Antiretroviral Therapy (UPART) Cohort study at the assigned duty station, focusing on data collection and storage. Additionally, they will assist the Data Officer in resolving data queries, managing study documentation, and ensuring effective implementation of study protocols.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality execution of all aspects of the UPART study in accordance with the approved study protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The successful candidate must possess a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, or a related field, with a valid registration/license from the appropriate regulatory authority.
- The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working in a busy research institution, demonstrating a strong background in handling study participants with a focus on confidentiality and ethical conduct. Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Human Subject Protection (HSP), as well as knowledge of HIV/AIDS care and management, will be considered an added advantage.
- The successful candidates MUST have good command of English, AND the Local Language of the preferred duty station.
- The candidates MUST indicate the preferred duty station in the application letter.
