
The Partnerships & Communication trainee will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, NGOs, and government bodies, to enhance the company’s mission and raise awareness of critical issues affecting smallholder farmers.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with relevant partners to promote initiatives that support smallholder farmers and ensure the success of our projects.
- Advocacy & Awareness: Raise awareness of the challenges faced by smallholder farmers and advocate for impactful solutions.
- Communication Strategy: Help in the development and implementation of communication strategies to promote our mission and the outcomes of our programs.
- Fundraising & Grant Writing: Support fundraising efforts through grant writing, proposal development, and engaging with potential donors.
- Reporting: Collaborate with the Impact & Data team to report program outcomes and share success stories with partners and donors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Marketing ,Social Work, Development Studies, Communications OR equivalent Diploma with 2 Years working experience.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, or advocacy, preferably in rural/agricultural development.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and advocate.
- Knowledge of fundraising, grant writing, or resource mobilization is a plus.
