Sales and Marketing Officer

Kilimani Children’s Clinic, is a leading provider of pediatric healthcare in Nairobi, Kenya. We opened our doors in November 2018 and have since grown steadily thanks to our dedicated team of consultant pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. We are passionate about providing personalized, high-quality care for your child, from birth all the way to young adulthood. Our in-house pediatricians are experienced parents themselves, bringing a unique understanding and empathy to their practice.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow in the fields of healthcare marketing and sales. The successful candidate will be involved in developing marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, and assisting with sales initiatives to promote our clinic’s services. The role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the health of children in our community while building a solid foundation in sales and marketing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing and sales strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones.

  • Conduct product and services sales analysis, pricing, margin, and market research (benchmark) for commercial decision making.

  • Support the creation of marketing materials in collaboration with healthcare professionals and administrative staff.

  • Contribute to managing the clinic’s social media platforms and website, ensuring content is engaging and informative.

  • Participate in organizing promotional events, health camps, and community outreach programs to raise awareness of the clinic.

  • Learn to monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales efforts.

  • Aid in building relationships with key stakeholders, local schools, childcare centers, and other organizations.

  • Support the COO with managing the marketing and sales budget.

  • Support Customer Care Department with customer service training

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the healthcare industry

  • Strong interest in marketing and sales, with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Basic understanding of digital sales & marketing, with an eagerness to learn.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Creative and analytical thinker with a problem-solving attitude.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic website management.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach.
