Sales Executives

Merican Limited is a reputable organization specializing in tailormade stainless steel fabrication and commercial food and beverage equipment solutions. We seek to hire competent, organized Sales Executives who will be responsible for generating leads and meeting the Company’s sales goal to join our sales and marketing team.
To be a successful direct sales representative, you should demonstrate solid negotiation skills and induce customers to purchase company products. Ultimately, a top performing sales executive should achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that purchased products are supplied to customers in a timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generating leads, meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Carrying out site visits and surveys
  • Contacting potential customers and building relationships with industry stakeholders
  • Building long term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Visiting existing and potential clients to evaluate need or promote our products and services
  • Maintain and improve client database
  • Contribute in planning and participation in expos and exhibitions
  • Schedules appointments and meetings with clients as necessary
  • Strategize ways to sell products in the face of a down market
  • Analyze and create a plan for engaging the target market
  • Sharing weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Other duties as maybe assigned by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Key competencies

  • Degree/diploma in sales and marketing or equivalent
  • A proven ability to drive sales and generate new business
  • Excellent networking, Strong negotiation & Effective communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Computer conversant and ability to utilize CRM systems.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality on classified information.
  • Previous experience in equipment sales will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience working with consultants
  • and contractors will be an added advantage.
