We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. **Responsibilities:**
– Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
– Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant management.
– Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
– Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc.
– Ensure the best quality of food served to our customers.
– Assist with the preparation, setup, and service for food production.
– Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
– Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
**Requirements:**
– Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
– Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
– Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
– Familiar with industry’s best practices.
– Food and beverage diploma preferred but not required.
