Job Purpose:
Provide input in ensuring Regulatory and Market conduct compliance standards are followed across all bank units as per the laws, regulations, guidelines, directives and industry best practice, and reporting all regulatory and market conduct compliance risks within BPR Bank Rwanda Plc.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Regulatory and market conduct risk events data collection, analysis and preparation of reports including recommendations to mitigate all non-compliance exposures.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to compile necessary data for the accurate and timely preparation of all relevant regulatory reports.
- Organizing and arranging training for the staff on Regulatory and Market Conduct Compliance matters.
- Provide inputs in ensuring that policies/manuals of the bank are aligned with the regulations and market conduct standards.
- Conducting regulatory and market conduct compliance risk assessments at the head office and branches.
- Perform the relevant quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory and market conduct standards and advise the Regulatory and Market Conduct Compliance Senior Manager of any likely implications of changes to the standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance with laws, regulations, guidelines, and market conduct standards, providing insights to the Regulatory and Market Conduct Compliance Senior Manager.
- Collaborate with business units to provide support and advice on regulatory compliance aspects of new products and projects.
- Provide inputs in the implementation of regulatory and market conduct compliance initiatives and projects.
- Provide inputs in the preparation of regular reports for senior leadership, offering insights into the effectiveness of regulatory and market conduct compliance.
Educational qualifications and work experience:
- Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any other related fields Professional Qualifications- ACCA, CPA.
- Any professional certificate in compliance, banking, finance, or any other related fields.
- Master’s degree Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any other related fields.
