Cytonn Asset Managers Limited (CAML) is a regulated Fund Manager by the Capital Markets Authority and the Retirement Benefits Authority. The company is also a licensed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Manager under the Capital Markets Authority. Our objective is to offer superior risk-adjusted investment returns to our clients through investments in both the public and alternative investments markets. The fund manager provides Cytonn Money Market Fund (CMMF) (https://cytonn.com/asset-managers/money-market-fund), one of the high yielding money market funds in Kenya, which is fully automated for our retail investors.

CAML investors include global and local institutional investors, individual retail investors, and diaspora investors.

We are seeking highly motivated, self-directed, team players to participate in an intense 12 weeks training and analyst work in our Internal Audit department. The position will afford successful individuals a unique opportunity to participate in the Cytonn Young Leaders Program.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the audit team in carrying out comprehensive audits in accordance to the annual work plan
2. Assist in the evaluation of the internal control environment over compliance with Company policies and procedures
3. Assist in review of adequacy of the company’s risks management process.
4. Help in preparation of reports on the internal audit findings
5. Assist in following up audit recommendations within the agreed timelines.
6. Support the risk management process through periodic independent reviews of the risk management practices and procedures.
7. Follow up on implementation of agreed risk mitigation recommendations with departments.
8. Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

1. A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum Upper second-class honors
2. A Minimum of B+ in KCSE
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
4. Strong numeracy, analytical and research skills
5. Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
6. Ready to learn and able to take up challenges as learning points.
7. Keen interest in investments and market trends
8. Good communication skills
