Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly creative and motivated Social Media Creative Content Creator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging, innovative, and culturally relevant content across various social media platforms to support our clients’ digital strategies. You will work closely with the digital media team to ensure that all content aligns with brand guidelines and achieves maximum impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and produce original social media content, including graphics, videos, stories, and posts, tailored to platform specifications (Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Collaborate with clients and the internal team to brainstorm, plan, and execute content strategies.
- Ensure all content is culturally relevant, localized, and resonates with target audiences, particularly in Tanzania and East Africa.
- Write compelling captions, headlines, and copy that align with the brand’s tone of voice and messaging.
- Monitor trends in social media and adapt content strategies accordingly to ensure relevancy and engagement.
- Track performance metrics, analyze data, and adjust content strategies to optimize reach, engagement, and growth.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of posts in line with campaign schedules.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging content tools, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve content quality and engagement.
- Contribute to campaign reporting and insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in social media content creation, digital media, or a similar role.
- Strong design skills and proficiency in content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), or other design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and Swahili.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate fresh ideas for content.
- Strong understanding of Tanzanian culture, trends, and local market dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in video editing and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of digital advertising tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, and X Ads.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and managing collaborations.
