Impact Hub Nairobi (IHN) creates a vibrant and versatile environment that combines both incorporeal and physical offerings. Events and effective community management are vital tools in celebrating and communicating not only what we do but “why” we do it. Our events give voice to the passion we have for all that we do and create a gateway for community engagement. This Events and Community Manager position is key to IHN’s success and requires a highly organized, creative, detail oriented and motivated person to serve as lead for event planning, revenue generation, community management, content development, production and event sponsorship

About the Role

As a Programs Intern at Impact Hub Nairobi, you will play a crucial role in supporting our programs and initiatives. You will work closely with our team to contribute to the planning, execution, and evaluation of various programs and initiative activities.

 

Location: Hybrid / Nairobi, Kenya

Requirements: 

  • Strong interest in social impact, community development, and innovation.
  • Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to commit to a 6-month internship, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in research, data collection, and analysis related to program impact and outcomes.
  • Participate in the development of program reports, case studies, and communication materials.
  • Support the planning and execution of events like workshops, webinars, and networking sessions.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as updating the program’s database and managing emails.
  • Engage in team meetings and contribute to discussions on program strategy and development.
  • Participate in a mentorship program designed to enhance your skills and professional growth.
