The ideal candidate should have proven record of experience in a risk and compliance function, preferably in an insurance business. in Kenya and East Africa region. The successful candidate should have in-depth knowledge of local regulatory, anti money laundering and data protection requirements and a proven ability to draw out and articulate regulatory themes to enable the promptly identify areas of potential regulatory concern.
The role holder will have a regulatory responsibility as the Compliance Officer for money laundering reporting and as the Data Protection Officer. He/ She will support the Global Heads of Operational Risk and Compliance in all areas of risk in line with the company’s Risk Management Framework and act as a key liaison with internal audit function.

The role holder will report to the CEO, be part of the leadership team and have a functional reporting to the Head of Governance, Planning and Operations Strategy.
4. Head of Claims – Kenya

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer with a functional reporting line to the Head of Relationship Management and Service Delivery, the role holder will lead and manage the customer service and complaints activities, ensuring the company delivers high-quality service delivery and prompt, effective resolution of customer complaints.
6. Actuarial Manager

The ideal candidate should have an extensive background with proven work experience in actuarial and pricing functions in the insurance or financial services industries. In addition, the successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of risk assessment and management policies, scenario and sensitivity testing and product development and design.
The role holder will have a primary responsibility to support the statutory actuary and the Principal Officer. The role will be supported by the company’s Pricing and Commercial team to deliver key activities.

We are looking for individuals with proven experience with the finance, reporting and audit regimes within Kenya and the wider East Africa region.
Reporting to the Board Chair, the Board Audit Chair will provide leadership to the Audit committee, liaising with key audit and financial stakeholders where required, to ensure there is prudent financial decision making and accurate reporting in place.
