Job Purpose
The Sales and Marketing Manager role is central to driving business growth by leading sales and marketing strategies, ensuring the conversion of leads into loyal customers, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role is crucial in increasing brand awareness,driving customer acquisition, and achieving revenue targets. By developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns and sales strategies, the Sales and Marketing Manager will contribute to the company’s market share and long-term sustainability for 4G Capital Uganda.
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for expansion.
- Establish sales targets and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Lead Conversion:
- Oversee the lead conversion process, ensuring that potential clients are effectively nurtured and converted into customers.
- Implement best practices in lead management, tracking, and reporting to optimize the conversion funnel.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align campaigns with lead generation and conversion goals.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.
- Manage public relations efforts to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility.
- Oversee the creation of promotional content including advertisements, brochures, and social media posts.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address customer feedback and concerns to improve products and services.
Sales and Marketing Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics related to sales activities, lead conversion, and marketing campaigns for all products at 4G Capital Uganda.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales and marketing performance to senior management.
- Use data and insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Required Skills for a Sales and Marketing Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized university
- Master’s degree in Marketing, CIMS is an added advantage
- Strong analytical abilities and problem resolution skills
- High integrity team player, self-starter and functional problem solver
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proven leadership, management, planning and organizational skills
- Commitment to ethical, sustainable commercial business approach and company success.

Relationships and Purpose
1.Senior Operations Manager
Direct line manager who will offer ongoing support and supervision, ensure operational alignment, facilitate resource
allocation, and help resolve operational challenges that impactsales and marketing activities.
2. Country Manager
Provide strategic updates and act as the conduit to the EXCO as required.
3.Departmental Heads and Head of UPIA
Support of enabling activity to operations teams to ensure performance.
4.Subordinates/Direct Reports
Determine work priorities and manage performance of sales and marketing teams.
5.External and other Internal Stakeholders
Manage and maintain these strategic alliances
