We offer a project-based freelance opportunity for a talented Paid Media Strategist to join our team. What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies across various digital channels, including DSP/programmatic advertising, display ads, and social media advertising (Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads).
- Utilise data-driven insights to identify target audiences, optimise ad placements, and maximise ROI.
- Negotiate and secure the most effective ad placements and competitive rates with publishers and ad exchanges.
- Manage and optimise paid media campaigns, ensuring they align with client objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Track and analyse campaign performance metrics, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the digital advertising landscape.
- Create visually appealing and informative data visualisations using Google Looker Studio and Google Slides to effectively communicate campaign performance and insights.
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations to clients, clearly articulating campaign strategies, results, and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored paid media strategies.
We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in paid media strategy and execution, with a strong focus on Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads Manager, Google Ads, DSP/programmatic advertising, and display ads.
- Proficiency in using major DSP platforms (e.g., Google DV360, The Trade Desk) and ad servers.
- Deep understanding of programmatic advertising concepts, including real-time bidding, header bidding, and audience segmentation.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions.
- Experience with various ad formats, including banners, native ads, video ads, and social media ads.
- Proficiency in using Google Looker Studio, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- A passion for digital marketing and a continuous drive to learn and stay updated on industry trends.
- Preferred: Google Ads or Facebook Blueprint certifications.
Competitive Remuneration:
We offer a competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience, ranging from KES 300 – KES 1,000 per hour (subject to experience and qualifications). Additional compensation may be considered for exceptional performance.
