We are looking for a dedicated Secondary Science Technician to support our Science Department. The role involves setting up equipment, assisting in practical lessons, maintaining safety, managing inventory, and supporting students and staff.
KEY ROLES:
- Prepare and set up equipment for science lessons.
- Assist teachers during practical lessons, ensuring safety.
- Maintain and organise laboratory equipment and materials.
- Manage inventory and liaise with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support students during practical work.
- Contribute to developing new practical activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or degree in a science-related field.
- Experience as a laboratory technician, preferably in a school.
- Strong knowledge of lab safety procedures.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
