Job Description
As a Data Analyst at OMGIK, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to drive business decisions and strategies. You will work within the operations team with a data team to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Your insights will directly impact our operational efficiency, risk management, and customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using statistical methods and data visualization techniques.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to track key performance indicators and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through data analysis.
- Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the insurance industry or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
