Seeking 7 Research Assistants for an End-Term Evaluation of the CHildren And Mother PartnershipS (CHAMPS) Program in Kitui South Sub County
Africa Research and Data Ltd is inviting applications for research assistants for the “ End-Term Evaluation of the CHildren And Mother PartnershipS (CHAMPS) Program in Kitui County “. The end-term evaluation seeks to provide relevant data analysis of the program indicators to understand the impact of the program on Maternal and Child health.
Consequently, we are seeking a blend of research enumerators possessing proven technical expertise in the fields of Public Health, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH), WASH and Livelihood.
Duties:
The duties of the research enumerators will encompass a range of tasks vital to the success of the study.
- Conduct interviews with all recruited study participants (CHMT, HCW, CHWs, HF Patient Exit Interviews, mothers, Record Review et al)
- Complete, edit, and submit all assigned interviews for cross-checking and verification on a daily basis.
- Review the collected data to ensure all questions are completed prior to online submission (Mobile Data Collection).
- Follow-up with participants for missing responses or correct any inaccurate responses.
- Ensure the safety of all assigned study tools.
- Moderate/facilitate qualitative interviews with all recruited study respondents.
- Take notes and compile comprehensive qualitative interview debriefing reports/notes.
- Other related tasks assigned by the supervisor, project manager and principal investigator.
Specifically, we are looking for enumerators whom have conducted similar assignment in Kitui South Sub County.
Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications for potential candidates include:
- A diploma or undergraduate degree in Public Health.
- Fluency in Kikamba, English and Swahili languages, with proficiency in both oral and written communication.
- Experience in electronic data capture methods, utilizing tools such as KOBO Collect or similar devices and electronic digital recorders.
- Experience of working with MOH.
Mandatory Requirements:
In compliance with the technical demands of this assignment, we acknowledge that data collection can be executed by individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. However, for this particular study requiring specialized knowledge and expertise, we will exclusively consider applications from the local communities in Kitui South Sub County.
