KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving /paying cash and cheques across the counter
- Adhere to teller transaction & cash holding limits at all times.
- Filing all cashier’s/reserve/main summaries.
- Filing all cashier’s payments/receipts related correspondences directed to you
- Receiving and recording cheque deposits
- Correct errors highlighted in the daily cash report.
- Calling & checking other tellers’ daily vouchers against daily report
- Collect all revenue due to the bank.
- Cross selling bank products and referrals as per allocated targets
- Exercise due diligence as per the procedures’ manual
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A university degree in relevant business discipline, any professional Qualification in General Banking is an added advantage.
- Strong people management skills and thorough knowledge of banking products and services, including wider understanding of the general consumer banking universe.
- Strong communications, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff.
