Key Responsibilities:
- Link farmers into TSA organic growers’ team and maintain their loyalty through
- extension services and good relations.
- Purchase nuts of agreed quality as per the quality assurance specification and sourcing
department - Maintain organic products integrity through compliance at all levels of production from farmers, purchasing, storage, transportation and ensure traceability to processing team.
- Offer technical assistance in regard to agronomic field, good agricultural practices, pest and disease management and management of intercrops.
- Register, inspect, contract and guide farmers into organic production compliance and
certification - Ensure seedlings distributed to farmers in areas of jurisdiction are all planted, according to right spacing, procedure and follow up to ensure over 85% success rate.
- Assist and ensure seedling production process is compliant with good production system that best fit farmers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Agriculture/Agribusiness/Agronomy/Agricultural Extension or Diploma
- with work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sourcing good quality macadamia Nuts
- Valid Riding License is MANDATORY
- Good Reporting skills
- Computer literate
- Flexible to move to any region
