MOTOMI is an after-market vehicle service and repair company, incorporated in 2013. The company fixes a range of petrol and diesel vehicle applications. Vehicles from Asian engineered Honda to American GMC. Equipped with modern software and hardware tools, customers are assured of proper repairs. We are currently operating from 4 locations. MOTOMI is managed by trained technicians with 10-15 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. As a customer-centric business, MOTOMI keeps a proper record of vehicles maintained in order to carry out timely repair and maintenance.

Job Description

  • Motomi Repairs is a trusted name in automotive repair and maintenance services, delivering high-quality workmanship with a customer-first approach. Based in Lekki, Lagos, we are committed to excellence, innovation, and reliability in all that we do. We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Workshop Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure high service standards, and drive team performance.
  • As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our automotive workshop.
  • You will supervise technicians, manage workflows, monitor inventory and parts, maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely job completion.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate technicians and support staff.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and quality standards in the workshop.
  • Prepare job estimates, invoices, and reports for management review.
  • Monitor workshop productivity, costs, and profitability.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Ensure all vehicles are diagnosed, repaired, and serviced to the highest standards.
  • Schedule and allocate jobs to technicians based on skills and workload.
  • Liaise with customers, provide technical advice, and communicate job updates.
  • Maintain stock levels of tools, parts, and consumables, and manage procurement as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 – 6 years of hands-on experience in automotive repairs, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using workshop software or job tracking tools is an advantage.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Lekki, Lagos
  • OND / HND / B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Trade Test or Technical Certifications are a plus).
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
