Job Title: Manager, Sales Operations

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment type: Full-Time

The role

  • We are looking for a Manager, Sales Operations who will be responsible for optimizing and scaling our sales processes, systems, and data to support the achievement of our ambitious sales goals.
  • This role will act as a strategic partner to the sales leadership team, providing insights, analysis, and operational support to enhance sales productivity and efficiency

Responsibilities
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be Like:
Sales Planning & Strategy:

  • Assist in the development of sales plans and strategies.
  • Support the sales team in achieving their sales quotas and objectives.
  • Manage sales incentive programs and track performance.
  • Support territory planning and sales goal setting

Sales Reporting & Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to sales leadership.
  •  Forecast sales performance and provide recommendations for achieving sales targets.

Sales Enablement:

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop sales collateral and resources.
  • Support the development and delivery of sales training programs.
  • Ensure the sales team has access to the necessary tools and resources to succeed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  •  Work closely with marketing, finance, product, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient sales processes to streamline the sales cycle and improve conversion rates.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks in the sales process, recommending and implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Document and communicate sales processes and best practices to the sales team.

Sales Systems & Technology:

  • Manage and optimize our CRM (e.g., Freshsales) and other sales-related tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CRM system.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on CRM and other sales tools.

Requirements
Required competency and skill set to be a Waver:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7-9 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in a fintech or technology company.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization (Powerbi, Tableau, Excel) is mandatory
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Understanding of sales methodologies.
  • Strong Project management abilities.
  • Proven track record of optimizing sales processes and improving sales efficiency
  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
