Receptionist cum Administrative Assistant

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will play an integral role in the customer service and organizational strength of our company, providing support to our management and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing the company’s general support activities.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and keep custody of various departmental stationaries, and equipment and prepare monthly reports on usages.
  • Prepare cash requisition and cheques for various purposes as advised.
  • Prepare daily production reports for the visual admin notice board and those required by stakeholders such as Sugar Board of Tanzania
  • Electronic and manual filing of correspondences and any other related documents while ensuring the central registry is in order.
  • Maintain mail register, collection and distribution of post and other items and maintain mail register.
  • Scheduling meetings and day to day administration of the boardroom.
  • Ensure the general cleanliness of the admin block.
  • Carry any other relevant duty as assigned by line manager and department heads.

Job Qualification and Experience

  • Diploma/ Degree in Social Science, Secretarial Studies or other related filed.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role
  • Computer literacy and office management.
  • Honest, Obedient, Smart, Trustworthy, and attentive to detail
  • Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication skills in both Swahili and English Language
  • Ability to drive a manual vehicle will be an added advantage.

 Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on a Permanent Contract.
