Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Telecom Sales and Account Manager based in Kenya to lead our sales efforts and manage client relationships in the telecommunications sector. This role is perfect for an industry-savvy professional, someone with significant local experience in the telecom industry. The position demands the ability to maintain effective collaboration with minimal supervision and excel in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies tailored to the telecom sector to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying prospects within the telecom industry to closing deals and managing accounts.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing telecom clients while actively pursuing new opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on sales performance and forecasts, utilizing key telecom-specific metrics.
- Coordinate with the management team in Dubai to ensure sales strategies are aligned with global objectives and the specific needs of the telecom sector.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our telecom-specific solutions according to customer needs.
- Oversee the contractual and financial aspects of sales projects and retainers, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
Working Conditions:
- This is a remote position with potential travel required to telecom client sites across Kenya.
- The role is offered on a part-time or freelance basis, with compensation processed from Dubai.
- Flexible working hours to cater to the demands of the market and facilitate effective communication with the Dubai office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience as a Sales Manager
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
