Coca-Cola Beverages Africa /CCBA is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit a System Clerk at our Rwenzori Plant in Kampala.
As a System Clerk, you will report directly to the Warehouse Team Leader.
Key Purpose Statement
To support stock accuracy in Microsoft Dynamics 365 while ensuring minimum stock levels and stock movement between locations
where needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Verify inventory computation by comparing physical count with the MSD system quantities.
• Inventory reconciliation, routine reporting as well as inventory adjustment at the Inventory Management level.
• Execute receipts and dispatches of inventories (in-bound, out-bound, and reverse logistics), material management, and physical distribution management to ensure continuous flow in the value/ supply chain.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and adjust differences at the Warehouse Management level.
• Develop a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure continuity in the event of System Downtime.
• Input to the elaboration of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in operations, in consultation with the direct supervisor and office Management.
• Work in a safe manner, identify and highlight unsafe work practices so that these can be corrected.
• Carry out housekeeping tasks and apply 5S principles during the execution of duties.
• Comply with Business Systems (including SC Ways, Internal Quality and Food Safety systems as well as Coca-Cola requirements).
• Adhere to the food safety (FSSC) requirements and Quality standards at all levels (local, international, and CCBU policy). Report any works or anyone that compromises quality and food safety on site.
Qualifications
Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, store management, or related field.
Experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in inventory management in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Understanding of key business cost drivers.
