
POSITION: BAKER
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, desserts, and specialty baked items
- Follow recipes and ensure consistent quality and presentation of products
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in adherence to health and safety standards
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items
- Manage inventory and ensure efficient use of baking ingredients
- Collaborate with the wider culinary team to meet guest expectations
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in culinary arts or baking and pastry arts
- Proven experience as a Baker, preferably in a hotel or high-end restaurant
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
