POSITION: BAKER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, desserts, and specialty baked items
  • Follow recipes and ensure consistent quality and presentation of products
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in adherence to health and safety standards
  • Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items
  • Manage inventory and ensure efficient use of baking ingredients
  • Collaborate with the wider culinary team to meet guest expectations

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate in culinary arts or baking and pastry arts
  • Proven experience as a Baker, preferably in a hotel or high-end restaurant
  • Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of presentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
