Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing management accounts, overseeing accounts payables and receivables, budgeting, and handling administrative tasks.
- The role requires a smart, organized professional with excellent record-keeping abilities and a keen eye for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Management Accounts: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including management accounts.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and track all payables and receivables, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and support audits as required.
- Administrative Oversight: Handle general administrative duties related to finance, procurement, and office operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Budget Preparation & Monitoring: Develop, manage, and track budgets to ensure efficient financial planning and expenditure control.
- Monthly Payables & Cash Flow Management: Ensure proper recording and payment of company obligations, monitor cash flow, and provide financial projections.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or any ERP system.
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
