L’Arche Kenya is a charitable trust founded in 2008 in Nyahururu to respond to the needs of persons with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to make known gifts of adults with intellectual disabilities and we aim at a society fully inclusive of persons with intellectual disabilities.
Occupational Therapist Trainee(1)
The Occupational Therapist Trainee will be engaged for one-year in its disability programs. The trainee will gain knowledge and experience in working with children and adults with disabilities through its community-based rehabilitation program. The trainee will also enjoy a supportive and collaborative work environment and enhance their opportunities for career growth and professional development.
Qualifications, Skills and Qualities:
- Possess a Diploma or Higher diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy programs for children
- Strong interest in working with children and adults with special needs
- Desire to work in Community Based Rehabilitation Programs
- Passionate, Creative, Committed, Competent and Flexible individual
Engagement: The trainee will receive a monthly stipend of Ksh 15,000.
