
Action for Rural Women’s Empowerment (ARUWE) is a non-profit; Non-Governmental Organization working with marginalized groups of peoplenespecially the women and girls.
ARUWE has received financing from Impact and Innovations Development Centre (IDC) to scale up the implementation of the Kesponsible Engaged and Loving (REAL) Fathers program which is an evidence-based, community-led parenting mentoring program, aimed at reducing intimate partner violence and violence against children while promoting early childhood development and learning through play. ARUWE is now looking to fill the following positions to implement the project and invites eligible candidates to apply.
Project Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Purpose of the Role:
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will support the Project Manager in reporting by ensuring all activities’ data is collected and managed through the project Mät systems using the appropriate tools.
This position is based in the Central Region but with frequent travel to other regions. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Head of Programs.
The Person
- Relevant academic training at bachelor’s degree level.
- At least 3 years’ proven hands-on experience in M&E work in a similar development project.
Behaviour Change Communication Officer
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide support to all Social and Behavioral Change Communication
(SBCC) related activities in targeted districts. The incumbent will support Project Officers/ Mentors in conducting group sessions and community celebrations as well as supporting the documentation
and monitoring of change stories. The BCC Officer will be based in the Central Region but with frequent travel to the other regions. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Head of Programs.
The Person
- Relevant academic training at bachelor’s degree level.
- At least 3 years practical experience in community-based programs and especially social behavior change activities, facilitating community dialogue etc.
Finance Officer
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide support in financial planning and management of project budgets in accordance to grant contracts and internal organization policy. He/She will ensure that project finances are utilized according to organization policy and contractual agreements between ARUWE and IIDC. This position is based in the Central region but with frequent travel to other regions. The incumbent will report to the Finance Manager.
The Person
- Relevant academic training at Bachelor’s level.
Professional training will be an advantage. - At least 3 years practical experience in the financial management of community-based programs.
