Description
- The Store Manager will oversee operations across all warehouses, ensuring seamless inventory management, team coordination, and operational efficiency.
- This role is critical to maintaining effective supply chain processes, ensuring material availability, and optimizing warehouse performance through strong leadership and strategic planning.
- The manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, staff management, and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular stock audits and ensure inventory accuracy using advanced management software.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including material receipt, inspection, and documentation.
- Lead and manage store personnel, providing training and professional development.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all warehouse operations.
- Maintain organized and efficient warehouse operations, ensuring timely access to required materials.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on inventory performance, stock status, and project material usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing, galvanizing, or fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industrial health, safety, and environmental regulations.
