Reporting to the Team Leader – New Business, the role holder will directly promote dfcu bank products and services under the retail banking domain to customers through face-to-face interactions, focusing on building relationships and achieving sales targets across the dfcu bank network.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Achieve set targets. (Accounts, Personal Loans, Deposits, Agency Banking/E — Channels).
- Planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential Customers.
- Attending field activation for potential client sourcing.
- Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information.
- Ensure client KYC/ documentation is well done for both personal loans and accounts.
- Attend to customer queries and complaints.
- Prepare daily performance reports and business pipelines.
- Grow the personal asset and liability portfolio of the bank to achieve the sales targets.
- Increase product penetration for personal banking clients by cross-selling and proactively recommending new products.
- Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits.
- Onboard new customers on alternate channels.
- Comply with KYC, AML & suspicious transactions reporting and ensure that all documentation and transactions are in line with local and regulatory anti-money laundering and KYC requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- The applicant for the dfcu Bank Direct Sales Representative career opportunity must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field preferably business-related.
- Credit in mathematics and English at O’ level is a must.
- Relevant working experience (especially in Sales) is an added advantage
