About Position

As a Technical Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the efficient operations of our technical services. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high standards of service delivery, adherence to schedules, compliance with quality and safety requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the design, building, and customization of Pro-Audiovisual, Broadcast and Multimedia integrated systems that meet clients’ requirements.
  2. Manage technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver tailored system architectures that exceed client expectations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  4. Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements, provide expert advice, and propose tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
  5. Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  6. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful implementation of integrated systems.
  7. Conduct thorough testing and validation procedures to guarantee the performance, stability, and security of integrated systems.
  8. Create comprehensive documentation, including system designs, configurations, and user manuals, to facilitate seamless system maintenance and troubleshooting.
  9. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure BCE Systems remains at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Engineering.
    Broadcast Systems Engineering, Audiovisual Systems Engineering, Telecommunications or relevant field.
  2. Proven experience in technical roles, preferably in a systems integration environment, preferably with at least 10 years of experience in the Audiovisual, Conferencing, Multimedia or Broadcast fields.
  3. Strong understanding of Broadcast Technology, Audiovisual Systems, Conference Systems, Telecommunications and ICT technology.
  4. Proven experience with systems from vendors such as Shure, AMX, BlackMagic, Haivision, Sony, Panasonic, Yamaha, Sony, Panasonic.
  5. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  7. Technical Training Certifications such as Dante, AVolP, Prince2/PMP are a plus.
  8. Proficiency in CAD Software, Visio and other design software are a plus.
