Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary
- The Senior Electrical Design Engineer oversees design processes and site inspections, supervising MEP contractors to ensure progress aligns with approved drawings and materials.
- The role demands a consultancy background, effective site coordination, and strong project management skills.
Tasks and Duties
Design and Drafting:
- Develop designs for electrical systems including Medium and Low Voltage Power, Lighting, and Low Current Systems.
- Prepare technical content for tender documents, engineering designs, feasibility reports, and specifications.
- Perform electrical engineering calculations and system analyses.
Site Supervision:

- Ensure execution aligns with approved shop drawings (site inspections required).
- Report daily progress to the General Manager and plan subsequent tasks.
- Inspect materials on-site and prepare requirements for upcoming phases.
Project Management:
- Address work non-conformities with recommendations.
- Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
- Evaluate contractor performance and analyze engineering issues with resolutions.
Consultancy and Development:
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Represent the firm at industry events.
- Contribute to company growth and uphold professional standards.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum).
- NSE & COREN Certification required.
- 10 – 20 years of consultancy experience in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Dialux.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Work Environment: Normal office environment with site visits.
Salary
N2,000,000 – N3,000,000 monthly.
