As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to focus on our roof products portfolio. The successful candidate will promote and sell roof windows, light tunnels, loft ladders, and other state-of-the-art roofing accessories while delivering exceptional customer service and technical advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for roof products.
- New Business Development: Proactively generate new sales opportunities via field sales, cold calling, networking, and digital channels.
- Client Engagement: Present and demonstrate product offerings to clients, addressing technical queries and providing solutions to meet their needs.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients by providing continuous support, guidance, and technical expertise.
- Product Knowledge: Provide in-depth technical advice on roofing products, ensuring clients are well-informed about the features, benefits, and installation process.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive product innovation and service improvements.
- Trade Events: Represent Classic Mouldings at trade shows, networking events, and expos to expand visibility and create sales opportunities.
- Customer Support: Resolve client objections or complaints, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training, and industry events to stay current with best practices and product knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience, with a focus on roofing or technical product sales.
- Strong technical knowledge in roofing products and construction processes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
