Job Summary: Our company is searching for experienced candidates for a pre-sales representative role with talent and passion for cosmetics who will be selling our products to potential buyers targeting key accounts such as supermarkets (recognizable supermarkets and shopping marts), organizations (private sector and government), institutions (schools and universities), negotiate sales terms geared by our route to market strategy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works hand in hand with the sales and marketing team to develop and deliver outstanding client presentations that support each stage of the conversation throughout the sales cycle.
- Showcase each of the service propositions in a manner that specifically addresses the identified client need and creates excitement amongst the client teams about the product.
- Face-to-face engagement (on-site support) with Customer to provide Technical and Sales Support.
- Attending industry events, providing product demonstrations and presentations.
- Sales representatives take the customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies, and procedures.
- Take ownership for the completion of all sales order requests, ensuring they are completed within the agreed deadline and t high quality.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to client requests for information about service propositions that demonstrates its super value, benefits, capabilities and Implement action plans (e.g., make regular calls/visits, take orders, etc.) to achieve sales targets for assigned region.
- Maximize volume and revenue in existing and new clients by utilizing a fact-based selling method.
- Negotiate and use persuasion skills to overcome objections through regular reaching out to new and existing customers to meet and exceed sales objections.
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients & provide daily recap of results and accomplishments to management
- Meet potential customers, give sales presentations, negotiate contracts to a range of prospective clients while ensuring clear and effective communication with the customers
- Manage distribution and positioning of our products in the targeted outlets especially distributors, retailers’ beauty shops, saloons and pharmacies operating on a cash before delivery basis.
- Maximize volume and revenue in cash before delivery client accounts by utilizing a fact-based selling method.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs, conduct market analysis and provide market intelligence to the team.
- Maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate pricing and contracts with customers to provide products and services that meet standards of quality, timeliness, and cost.
- Implement action plans (e.g., make regular calls/visits, take orders, etc.) to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- 4-5 years’ experience in trade marketing, operations, and sales representative, at least
- 2 years of expertise in comparable pre-sales role guided by a route to market strategy.
- A valid motorcycle riding license (class A) is a must have.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or any related field & FMCG cosmetics industries background is a must
- Demonstrate strong communication skills (able to communicate professionally in written and verbal responses) and negotiation skills
- Experience in product pricing knowledge and product positioning in the targeted outlets is preferred.
- Strong understanding of service delivery processes, ideally within FMCGs products.
- Good with gathering information through market research and interpreting customer needs.
- Must be flexible to travel from time to time and can work independently to deliver results while maintaining focus, productivity, to meet Deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Must be honest, motivated, and able to work under pressure and teamwork.
