We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Officer to drive growth and expansion in Umuahia.
The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and effectively drive sales and insurance in Abia state.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, revenue generation, and profitability in Umuahia.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, optimizing processes and resources to ensure efficient business performance.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion and penetration in Umuahia and neighboring regions.
- Develop proposals and presentations for clients.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the local community to enhance brand presence and impact.
- Direct sales and marketing initiatives to promote our products and services effectively in the local market.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience: Proven work experience, ideally within the insurance or insurtech industry, with experience in building and scaling businesses.
- Skills: Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of technology, insurance products, and the circular economy. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
